I went back and forth on the title for this one, whether to use the title attached to the Irish revival, or the “Prince Robert” referred to in the Child and Roud indexes (as Ewan McLennan does with his excellent recording). In the end I went with the Irish title as it makes more sense with the lyrics of the song, and my general rule of thumb for Sing Yonder is “Don’t be deliberately obtuse for the sake of tradition”.
